Our Vicar is Revd Michael Ridley. Michael has been our vicar since May 2005. He is married to Joanne and they have a son, Gregory. Michael has been a priest in Chester Diocese since the start of his ministry in 1983. His father was a vicar, as are his two older brothers: serving God runs in the family!
He is helped to run the parish by our Ministry Team:
Robert studied BA Theology through the University of Manchester, before spending the next 20 years within the Elim Church movement. He was accepted to train for ordination in 2017 and has spent the last two years working on his Post Graduate Studies through Durham University, and was Ordained in 2019.
He is married to Debbie, and they have two grown-up children Jessica and Judson, and we could not go on without mentioning Patch Roberts English Springer Spaniel.
Robert says. “I loved the worship and friendliness of the congregations and I am excited about working with Rev Michael and serving the churches and communities.”
Revd Monica Thomson is our Associate Minister. She is a retired priest who lives and worships in our parish. Monica also helps out at St. Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington.
Frances Ireland is our licence Reader, who lives and worships in our parish. Frances is also the Safeguarding Officer for the two churches.
